If you are looking for a newborn photographer in the Bay Area, then you're in the right place! Whether your new little one is still on the way or they arrived a short while ago, it is never too late to capture life's precious moments in a timeless photograph. 5 to 10 days old is the perfect time to take picture of your newborn because they don't have baby acne and they are easier to the position because they tend to sleep more. We specialize in taking classic images of maternity, newborns, babies, and families. Newborn sessions are booked based on your due date, so think ahead and book your newborn session early by contacting me today. If you have already had your newborn, please inquiry if I have any last-minute openings. Don't worry if your baby is over 10 days old, I can still get great images of the baby.
Photographs have a special place in our hearts because they connect us to the past and help us remember our journey to the present. Capturing your baby's first years or your growing family will make for a wonderful stroll down Memory Lane in the years to come. Time will fly by and everyone will grow up, but the memories you make will last forever. I can help you capture the moments you'll want to hold onto and cherish forever.
LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY: Parents, relax. You and your newborn are in good hands. Newborns are hard work and we know new parents are exhausted. We also know that the last thing you need to worry about is making sure you have everything you could possibly need for your little in-home photo session. This is one of the reasons we come to a location that is convenient for you to take photographs of your newborn. We want the time to be enjoyable and stress-free for everyone involved even if that means taking many breaks for diaper changes and feedings. Out of everything that might happen during a newborn photoshoot, one thing is for sure -- everyone, including the baby, will be comfortable and well taken care of. I understand I am granted a privilege when asked to share in the excitement of welcoming a new addition to your family.
Studio or Lifestyle: I provide hats, headbands, blankets, wraps, wooden floors, wooden beds, baskets, textures, and other props for newborns. When booking your session, we will have discussed what you would like and what day and time works best for natural lighting. If need be, I can also provide lighting equipment from my professional home studio. We will also discuss which props you are most interested in as well so that I am prepared well in advance.
One to two weeks after your session you will be emailed a password to view your proofs in an online gallery.
Considerations: In order to capture these tender moments and do the various poses and outfit changes, it is imperative to:
- Have a warm room because the warmth helps keep the baby relaxed.
- Feed your newborn 20 minutes before the session. Keep in mind they will want to eat more at this time as well.
- The sessions are about 3 hours long and patience is key in order to get the perfect photographs. During this time, there will be a lot of cuddling, soothing, and feeding in order to slowly get in and out of poses and outfits you previously selected.
- It is best to book your session while pregnant so you can make sure to capture this tender moment and plan for it when baby is 7 to 14 days old. It is amazing how quickly your baby grows!

- When should I book a newborn session?
-
It's best to book a newborn session when still pregnant. If you already had your baby, please contact me to see if I have any last-minute availability. After you book a session, I put your due date in my calendar. Once the little one arrives we will set a date.
- When is the payment due?
-
50% of the session fee is due when book your session. The balance is then due the day of your photoshoot. Once you view the gallery and decide on which Collection you are interested in, that will be due in full before any work begins or any order is placed.
- What kind of photos will I get?
-
In addition to the newborn images, I shoot each parent alone with their child and also as a family so you will have a variety of images telling your story.
